How do you feel about your body? The Voy Health Index asked 15,000 Brits to reveal what’s really going on beneath the surface.
We surveyed 15,000 people across the UK about their bodies. The results revealed an alarming truth: 82% of people are embarrassed or self-conscious.

Nearly half of people surveyed say they’ve never spoken to anyone about the bits of their bodies they feel embarrassed or self-conscious about.

Despite body positivity movements, women are still more likely to change their behaviour due to fear of judgement, and to bottle up their body image concerns.

For many men, some health issues don’t
just feel personal, they can feel exposing. Alarmingly, 51% of men say they feel pressure to just “get on with it”.
When people understand what’s happening in their bodies, they’re more likely to seek support and make informed decisions. At Voy, we’re working towards a future where feeling comfortable in your body isn’t the exception, but the norm.
